In conditions of COVID-19, some of our patients are not able to come to our hospital for various reasons and thus fail to receive the necessary medical care. To be able to stay in touch with our patients and ensure continuity in medical care we have developed several tools, including safe and secure transportation.
The vehicle is secured according to all safety protocols and operating conditions at this time, according to the strictest rules for disinfection and passenger safety.
Here is the experience of Ana Petrusevska from Skopje, one of our patients, who used our transport.
“These three days after cataract surgery with an intraocular lens, I look great. I feel like new thanks to Dr. Kostovska and the whole team. I knew it was a serious hospital, but what they did, and they didn’t have to, meant a lot to me. On the day of the operation, I was transported from home to the hospital, which was especially clean and with all disinfection measures. I really felt special! I did not expect such a gesture. Although I was scared on the day of the operation, this professional and caring approach of the staff at Sistina Ophthalmology helped me a lot. I have had problems with diopters for a long time, as well as with high eye pressure, but I treat it with therapy. I was burdened watching TV and far away objects. At the end of 2019 they discovered that I also have cataracts and referred me to Dr. Kostovska and the team at Sistina Ophthalmology. I had to have cataract surgery in February – I knew the sooner the better for my eyesight. However, I had to wait for the coronavirus measures and condition to stabilize a bit to perform the operation. “I did that at this moment and I am glad that I addressed your team that I trust.” – said Ana.
