Sistina Ophthalmology, in partnership with the Union of Diabetic Associations, will develop a program for education and prevention of eye diseases among patients who have diabetes. The first eye hospital in Macedonia, for the needs of the project, makes available the complete medical expertise, in order to improve the treatment and increase the positive experiences of patients with diabetes.

We have now developed such a partnership with the Union of Diabetic Associations, with whom we signed a memorandum of cooperation. Patients are and remain our focus. Through educational activities and preventive methods, we want to raise awareness about the need for regular ophthalmological examinations for patients with diabetes. Otherwise, serious medical complications may occur, caused by the disease,” said the medical director of Sistina Ophthalmology, Dr. Zlatko Arnaudovski.
