The medical team of Sistina Ophthalmology in a period of 20 working days, visited 21 primary schools and screened the vision of about 3500 children from first to fifth grade, throughout the Municipality of Gostivar such as the villages Chajle, Forino, Cegrane, Debreshe, Vrutok, Recane , Raden, Belovishte, Lakavica, Srbinoco, Balin Dol, Dolna Banica, Gorna Banica, Zdunje and the settlement Ciglana.
The team that covered 2500 km included doctors, nurses and employees from the Patient Experience office from Sistina Ophthalmology Skopje and the diagnostic center Sistina Ophthalmology in Gostivar.
The education and screening took place in cooperation with the Municipality, the schools, and the parents of the children who gave us unreserved support. Our team gave recommendations and guidance to all the children who saw the need for further monitoring of the condition.
