The eye has always fascinated me with its complexity and its perfection as the main organ for the sense of sight.

  • What inspired you to become an ophthalmologist?

The eye has always fascinated me with its complexity and its perfection as the main organ for the sense of sight and towards the end of my studies at the Faculty of Medicine in Skopje, when I already had a general idea of all areas of medicine, I knew that ophthalmology is the branch that felt the closest to me and an area in which I want to work in the future.

  • How do you spend your free time, do you have any hobies?

The free time I have, which is quite limited due to daily professional and private obligations, I always want to spend it with my loved ones and friends, and I try to find additional free time for occasional sports activities. I am a big fan of sports, especially football and basketball, and I like to be up to date with the latest developments in the field of sports.

  • What is your favorite aspect of working in ophthalmology?

Working directly with patients is definitely my favorite aspect of working in ophthalmology. Helping patients of all ages to improve their vision gives me immense satisfaction and a sense of fulfillment.

  • What advice would you give to those who are considering a career in medical, specifically ophthalmology?

If anyone is interested in studying medicine, I would tell them that there is no better and more beautiful branch than ophthalmology. Helping people is the noblest thing in the world, and helping people to improve or restore their sight so that they can see the world around them more clearly is priceless.

  • What is your philosophy in life or life motto?

As a life motto, I would recommend to everyone to walk firmly on the right path, because only with a lot of effort and work, gradually, real success is achieved not only in the profession, but also in life in general.
