The Medis International Medical Research Competition is an international competition for outstanding research achievements in nine Central and Southeastern European countries and covers nine medical fields.

Dr. Fanka Gilevska is one of the two finalists in the field of ophthalmology in which she participates with the scientific research conducted in Sistina Ophthalmology on the topic: “Can changes in visual acuity and astigmatism be predicted after cross-linking treatment of keratoconus?” (Are changes in visual acuity and astigmatism after corneal cross-linking (CXL) in keratoconus predictable?) which was published in the Graefes Archive for Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology (Graefes Archive for Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology).
